The Pioneer Womens Garden

Melbourne is known for its beautiful public gardens & parks and one of my favourite to visit is the pioneer womens garden in the heart of the city. its part of the Royal Botanic Gardens and was opened in 1935. it is a sunken garden that is built into the side of a small hill, there are lovely grassy areas to lay a blanket and just sit and relax, something I think many of us forget to do, I know I do. if you are visiting Melbourne please make the time for a visit to this lovely peaceful place just a stones throw from the hustle & bustle of the city centre.
